Dear Miss Landau is a dazzling new musical by George Porter and David P Bailey which brings together a vampire, Mozart, Einstein, a Vulcan, a Hollywood star and a 'rainman' called James, on a road-trip across America, to try to find the soul that James thinks he lacks. A play in two Acts, with 21 original songs, it has been written for a cast of 12 actor/musicians playing 38 characters.

Dear Miss Landau was inspired by the autobiographical book of the same name by James Christie, which was described by Tim Coates on BBC Radio 4's A Good Read as 'the best book I've read in ten years'.

On this website, you can read a synopsis of the plot, listen to some of the music, and find out more about the writer and composer. If you are a producer or agent, and you would like to receive a copy of the script, the libretto, and a demo CD of the songs, then please contact us.
